ALSTOM Switzerland Pension Fund (PF) / Supplementary Insurance Plan (SIP): News from the Board of Trustees, 9 April 2015

Current performance
In March 2015, the funds generated a slightly positive return on investments (PF = 0.37%; SIP = 0.41%). The accumulated results of the first quarter 2015 amount to 1.92% in the PF and 1.91% in the SIP.

Approval of the annual accounts
The Board of Trustees has approved the annual accounts 2014. At 8.69%, the PF reported a very good result. In comparison, the average result achieved by Swiss pension funds pursuant to the ASIP comparative performance assessment was 7.9%. The coverage ratio increased to 119.3% (previous year: 114.3%). The SIP recorded a performance of 8.58% and increased its coverage ratio to 115.2% (previous year: 110.6%).

Appointment of auditor
Once again, PricewaterhouseCoopers AG was confirmed as auditor for financial year 2015.

Appointment of expert
The previous expert, Dr. Olivier Kern of Pittet Associates AG, was re-appointed for financial year 2015.
